  4. Kia ora Charis and welcome to the Winter Learning Journey programme. We are so excited to have you blogging with us! I hope that you enjoyed the first activity in the programme. You certainly put a lot of hard work into making your DLO and it shows. Nicely done!

Like you, I also love rugby. I didn't grow up with it as a young girl because I was born and raised in Canada. Our favourite sport in Canada is ice hockey! However, once I moved to New Zealand in 2010, I learned all about rugby and now I watch it regularly. In fact, I watched the All Blacks play the British and Irish Lions last night. It was a really close game that ended up tied at the end of 80 minutes (15 - 15). Did you get the chance to watch it?

I hope that you and your family are all having a nice time together over the term break. I'll look forward to blogging more with you over the next few weeks. Feel free to log onto the Winter Learning Journey website and choose an activity to do any time.

I'll look forward to seeing you back online blogging again soon :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel
